Product Analyst

As a member of a fun and close-knit Product Management team, you will lead efforts related to researching customer needs and market trends, measuring and monitoring product performance, building data relevant for strong product business cases for new investments and driving market intelligence throughout the organization. This will be done in collaborative approach with our best-in-class designers and engineers, marketing, sales, curriculum and education research teams.

As a product analyst, you will maintain objective and key results metrics including but not limited to product performance, financials, Net Promoter Score (NPS), Customer Satisfaction, and customer retention.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of company products to meet the company current and future needs.
  • Assist with the translation of market trends into product requirements that feed the execution of roadmap initiatives .
  • Design, lead and execute primary research initiatives including surveys, win/loss analysis, interviews, and focus groups.
  • Assist product managers in data analysis, business case construction, and product strategy recommendations
  • Manage methodology and tools used to gather, manage, and share customer feedback, including continuous closed loop system for NPS and CSAT data.
  • Select and manage vendors to support market research activities and programs.
  • Identify and implement metrics to inform leaders of product performance and market opportunities.
  • Provide in-depth data analysis of qualitative and quantitative research to be able to segment, trend and understand results.
  • Research and analyze competition and competitive trends
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral professional communication.
  • Facilitate consistent, organization-wide sharing of research (through written reports, charts and graphs, speaking, and formal presentations) on the competition, market trends, and research project findings.
  • Annualize educational market and competition based on a synthesis of appropriate data, including primary and secondary market research, customer feedback, sales and market data, product evaluations, services feedback and industry network.
  • Proactively analyze and provide resolution to both strategic and tactical opportunities to improve products to meet market demands for now as well as into the future.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, data scientists, and user researchers to analyze patterns and trends, identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Able to represent the company and mission to the public and schools on site visits, media interviews and at conference and industry events.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, mathematics, data science or an equivalent field required direct experience managing and executing primary market research studies and data analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing data in a fast-paced, a highly matrixed and cross-functional organization.
  • Experienced in database software, pulling data from multiple sources such as data warehouses such as a CRM, Salesforce and other transactional data systems
  • Ability to interpret and analyze company and product line financial statements and make tangible and P&L-based recommendations and action plans to grow and maintain product lines
  • Experience in leading without authority by building relationships
  • Master in creating easy to understand and concise presentations using Microsoft application such as Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Inspirational, motivational, and results-based leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel (estimated up to 25%)
