PRACTICE was founded in 2010 at Cornell University by Karim Abouelnaga, a first-generation public-school alumnus who wanted to provide educational opportunities for kids like him. You will be the Vice President of Partnerships (Sales) and one day head the Partnerships Team and one of PRACTICE’s 25 full-time employees and 200+ part-time employees (and growing). Our Sales Team drives the company revenue, so it is integral to identifying our customer needs and wants and crucial to maintaining relationships with our stakeholders. In this role, you will identify targets and goals, and bring together all efforts to achieve these goals.


We are looking for someone who can solely focus on selling and operating our programs across schools in NYC. The main clients of PRACTICE are School Principals, so being able to confidently understand their needs and deliver on services is key. It is important to have the sales expertise paired with the education space experience.

This is an end-to-end role where you are involved in both the sale and program delivery, allowing us to make program modifications that truly meet the needs of the individual schools. Therefore, we are looking for someone who can be nimble and ready to adapt. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, confidence, the ability to multitask, and leverage excel to calculate jobs and sales effectively. This also means relentless follow-up and consistent communication with our clients.


  • Drive revenue for the organization by launching and managing new school programs
  • Set quarterly and annual sales goals and motivate the sales team to achieve targets
  • Update programs and sales target KPIs on a weekly basis
  • Manage sales documents and collateral for meetings, presentations, and tabling
  • Support with the coordination of day 1 logistics for all customer kickoffs
  • Manage relationships with Principals and other school officials
  • Attend partnership meetings to meet sales targets for new partnerships, renewals, and sales
  • Support with ongoing sales training for team
  • Work closely with the marketing team
  • Maintain reporting and data collection to inform sales investments and projections, mainly through HubSpot and Asana
  • Promote the company, core values (Excellence, Entrepreneurship, Conscious Capitalism, and Revolutionary Change), and mission as an internal brand ambassador


  • 7+ years experience in a sales leadership position strongly preferred
  • 4+ years experience working in a selling role and with sales technology and CRM software strongly preferred
  • 2+ years experience in a senior (C-level) leadership role may be advantageous
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques
  • Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market
  • Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Previous Sales experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the NYC education system preferred
  • A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university
  • Master's degree in a business-related field may be advantageous

This position offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $200,000 depending on experience and anticipated quota. This is a performance-based role where you have the potential to earn 100%+ of your base salary.
