The PK-2 Math Content Creator will collaborate with PowerMyLearning staff, teachers, and families to develop sequences—playlists—of short, fun, and impactful math activities for students and a family member to do together at home. Activities will be delivered via text messages and short videos in multiple languages. The content creation work for this phase of the project is scheduled from November 2021 - June 2022.


  • Collaborate with Content Team and others to:
  • Finalize list of playlist topics
  • Finalize style and format for playlist sections
  • Draft playlists of math activities to do with families, including multiple sections.
  • Revise playlists based on feedback.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient fashion while meeting all requirements and guidelines.



  • Passion for PowerMyLearning’s mission and values
  • 3+ years of PK-2 teaching experience
  • Strong working knowledge of PK-2 math content and research-based practices for early-childhood math teaching and learning
  • Working knowledge of national math standards and popular math curricula
  • Experience developing engaging and impactful educational activities
  • Experience working with diverse communities of students and families
  • Excellent communication skills, especially succinct and clear writing for families
  • Exceptionally organized with great attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Creative
  • Collaborative


  • Experience as math lead in school or educational organization
  • Experience with family engagement and/or home educational activities
  • Knowledge of Culturally Responsive Education and Social-Emotional Learning principles and practices.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish


Compensation to be based on playlists created, at a competitive rate commensurate with experience.
