We’re looking for an inside sales professional with a knack for closing deals. Thousands of schools and districts have expressed interest in our Premium service. Your job will be to understand our product inside and out, demonstrate its benefits to a variety of educational stakeholders, and convert interested parties into satisfied clients. The primary focus is sales (though not cold calling), but you’ll also work on customer service and account management so you can get a comprehensive view of our customer ecosystem.

About You

  • You have a degree from a four-year college or university
  • You have at least 1-2 years of SaaS sales experience
  • You take pride in your written and oral communications skills
  • You know your way around CRM software like RelateIQ or Salesforce, and you pick up new technologies quickly
  • You’re outgoing, creative, and tenacious
  • You bring passion, work ethic, and a desire to make a difference
  • You want to work at a small startup with a talented team

Bonus points if...

  • You’ve taught in a US middle or high school

Responsibilities

  • Explaining and demonstrating key product features over e-mail and by phone
  • Providing exceptional service during and after the sales process
  • Cultivating empathy for the needs of our customers
  • Responding quickly and helpfully to a variety of customer requests
  • Analyzing our sales strategies and suggesting improvements
  • Soliciting and responding to customer feedback
