Partnership Manager Associate

The Role

The Manager Associate serves as a support to field-based Partnership Managers in a variety of roles, including but not limited to, assisting with the sales related activities such as, customer meetings, small group presentations, customer service, event and pilot management and responses to district Q & A. All in an effort to increase Partnership Manager’s ability to drive; revenue, customer retention, and growth for the state.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1.Assist Partnership Managers in districts with adoption related needs such as pilot committee meetings, facilitating the coordination of print and digital pilots, Techbook trainings, sales calls, etc…
  • 2.Support with conferences and exhibits including, pre and post needs such as assisting with coordination of events, on-site meetings and presentations, networking and post-event follow-up.
  • 3.Assist with surveying of territory to determine pipeline and priorities.
  • 4.Coordinate resources and support sales teams at County Office of Education Fairs, local presentations and pilots.
  • 5.Facilitate and deliver high quality customer meetings demonstrating a strong understanding of Discovery’s programs and their place in the competitive landscape.
  • 6.Deepen and strengthen Partnership District relationships through consistent and responsive communication and customer service.
  • 7.Ensure support for Partner Managers that focuses on activities that are directly related to sales efficiencies.
  • 8.Assist Partnership Manager’s in districts with adoption related needs such as management of materials for samples, pilots and presentations.
  • 9.Assist districts with coordination and management of materials for pilots and post sales needs.
  • 10.Coordinate resources and support teams at County Office of Education Fairs, local presentations and pilots
  • 11.Assist with the execution of flawless high yield events that tie back to DE products/services/solutions and leverage the Discovery “magic” (including brand, functional experts and talent) to create break-through and memorable events.
  • 12.Deepen and strengthen Partnership District relationships through consistent and responsive communication and customer service.
  • 13.Ensure support for Partner Managers that focuses on activities that are directly related to sales efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a sales environment and demonstrated deep understanding of role in supporting a sales team and building partner relationships.
  • Professional presence and ability to effectively and communicate with teachers and administrators.
  • Strong organizational skills, planning, logistics and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work closely with Partnership Managers in collaborative role Customer-centric, comfortable with dealing with customers at a high level.
  • Track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously while paying strong attention to detail.
  • Prefer experience in educational industry with sales support
  • Position requires a high degree of flexibility and the ability to react quickly to changing needs in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-volume and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to identify a need, bring solutions to the table, and lead solution to fruition
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong Ability to effectively demonstrate in small groups and individuals digital and print products.
  • Candidate must have valid driver’s license, reliable and insured transportation and willingness to use vehicle for job services.
  • Flexibility with work hours including weekends is preferred
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States
