This is where you come in…

We're looking for an energetic and resilient Partner Development Associate with a lead generation background and passion for improving education. This individual will play a critical role in the Ellevation sales process, responsible for identifying, nurturing, and delivering high-quality sales opportunities to our Sales Team. The Partner Development Associate will focus on one primary objective – outbound prospecting and lead generation activities with school district leaders that generate a high-volume of qualified online demo meetings to be handed-off to our Partner Development Managers. The ideal candidate will be skilled at outbound sales prospecting, knowledgeable about the K-12 market, highly motivated and interested in career development, and prepared to work hard to build the business.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify and develop new K-12 district sales opportunities within an assigned territory through cold calling, social selling, reference-based networking and direct marketing efforts
  • Prioritize & engage prospective K-12 district partners and schedule virtual demo meetings for assigned sales team members
  • Initiate consistently high volume of daily outbound calls to drive consistent weekly lead generation
  • Articulate value of Ellevation to prospects while gathering insight about goals & needs of district to support product demo
  • Become a trusted resource for ELL professionals by nurturing leads through targeted sharing of content and other information
  • Maintain accurate information and activity tracking in Salesforce.com

About you:

  • One year of successful inside sales experience preferred, preferably in the educational technology market
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Motivated and driven to be successful through continuous personal improvement
  • Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to succeed in a competitive selling environment
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Passion for driving change in education
