Part Time Professional Learning Facilitator (TX)

Job Overview:

Our Customer Success team is seeking an experienced Professional Learning Facilitator to deliver impactful and engaging professional learning sessions to our customers. In addition, this person will be responsible for articulating best practices around onsite facilitation.

Location: Candidate should reside in the state of Texas.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate professional learning sessions for our educators primarily in the Texas area and when needed, across the country
  • Ability to work part-time hours that are not consistent week to week. Trainings are facilitated based on need, and working with school schedules this has busier and slower periods throughout the year
  • Working experience with Texas State Standards
  • Participate in on-boarding and ongoing internal learning of our product
  • Work collaboratively with the Manager of Professional Facilitators to ensure the delivery of successful, engaging and impactful learning experiences
  • Collaborate with State Success Manager andCustomer Success Managers to understand the intention behind each session and customize as needed
  • Confirm details of the learning session with the schools prior to the event
  • Review survey data and apply the feedback toward professional growth
  • Actively participate in quarterly regional meetings
  • Complete post learning experience report within specified time frames
  • Present best practices during the quarterly calls with other national facilitators
  • Stay abreast of the latest research in the area of delivery and share those with others within our organization
  • You take initiative in bringing innovative facilitation methods to our group
  • You are accountable for delivery impactful and engaging learning session each time
  • You are adaptable to able to change your approach as needed based on customer’s needs
  • You collaborate with colleagues on the Customer Success Team to elevate our practice around onsite facilitation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in education required. Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of teaching experience with English Language Arts
  • At least 2 years of literacy and/or Instructional coach experience, providing professional Learning experience to Adult Learners
  • >2 years ESL Instruction preferred
  • Superior facilitation, active engagement, and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to motivate k-12 educators, read the audience and manage time
  • Familiarity with adult learning required
  • Experience working with English as a Second Language students preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility with delivering learning sessions early in the morning and late in the evening
  • Organized and ability to multitask
  • Ability to travel up to 75% during high demand months both instate and nationally. This will at times include overnight travel as needed
