Code.org is looking for a detail and customer-service oriented Program Associate to join Code.org’s Outreach team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to support Code.org’s Regional Partner program. The goal of this program is to help independent organizations throughout the U.S. establish themselves as a K-12 computer science hub for their region, offering professional learning opportunities for teachers and building a strong local community.

Under the direction of the Director of Outreach, you will provide operational and administrative assistance. This role will work collaboratively with the other team members supporting Regional Partners. This is a full-time, exempt position.

In this role you will:

  • Manage communication channels with our Regional Partners
    • Draft and send weekly communication to partners; draft templates Regional Managers can use to email partners
    • Respond to customer support tickets
  • Provide general support to the team Program Manager and other outreach team members. Typical duties may include:
    • Managing the MOU process with partners, reviewing partner annual reports for missing data, updating information sheets and slides
    • Tracking teacher and facilitator application data and summarizing findings for team
  • Provide logistical support for events, such as our annual Regional Partner Summit


We are looking for a customer-service oriented self-starter who is skilled in successfully delivering projects, enjoys multi-tasking, cheerfully excels under pressure, and works independently with a geographically dispersed team. Must be extremely detail-oriented, possess exceptional writing and communications ability, and be tech-savvy. Candidate should be flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Passion for Code.org’s mission
  • Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office and Google Docs
  • Proficient with Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • 2-3 years experience in a program support role
  • A bachelors degree (Computer science background/experience not required)
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% time

In addition, you:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check
