Membership Specialist, Rosetta Stone (VA)

IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 14 million students worldwide, is seeking an upbeat, focused, and detailed individual to join the Membership Sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with customers and responding to incoming inquiries. This person must be well-organized and extremely personable. We are looking for a quick learner who is flexible and can take on a variety of projects.

This position is for a Membership Specialist who is passionate about and dedicated to providing the highest quality of service to our growing customer base.

This is a full time hourly position in our Harrisonburg, VA office with a hybrid work schedule.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Provide exceptional service and support to prospective customers
  • Process customer credit card payments as well as refunds and cancellation requests
  • Respond to billing questions and concerns.
  • Perform tasks related to sales support such as answering inbound sales and product questions, providing pricing information, and logging customer communication in Salesforce
  • Effectively communicate key product features and benefits to customers via phone and email
  • Initiate customer transfers to technical or customer support staff
  • Complete related projects successfully and promptly

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of call center-style phone support, or other customer service experience
  • Energetic, positive, mature person who works well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
  • Exceptional critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using online tools in a professional setting (Ex. Salesforce, G-Suite, or other internal tools)
