In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing marketing efforts to boost usage of both the core Khan Academy product and Khan Academy Kids, our recently launched app for kids ages 2-5. You will craft and execute go-to-market strategies by partnering with channel marketers, product management, and design teams, as well as external partners. At the end of the day, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you impacted the learning journeys (and lives!) of millions of learners.

Deliverables:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategy inclusive of:
    • Developing & iterating on customer-backed positioning/messaging delivered across the end-to-end experience (marketing and product)
    • Driving multi-channel awareness and acquisition campaigns, with a focus on app store optimization, social media, influencer marketing, email, and in-product cross-sell
    • Partnering closely with product teams to deliver new, delightful cross-product integration experiences to optimize conversion, active use, and ongoing use
  • Develop, monitor, and report out on acquisition goals (downloads, sign-ups, monthly active use); analyze performance and share learnings with broader team and executives

Qualifications:

  • Strategic thinker and self-directed professional
  • Good understanding of marketing fundamentals to drive growth (branding, positioning, messaging, segmentation, digital channels, conversion funnels)
  • Experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels (advertising, web, social, influencer marketing, email, in-product, etc.)
  • Experience marketing mobile apps (app store optimization, mobile advertising)
  • 3+ years of consumer marketing experience, preferably in software/ app
  • High energy & positive mindset; willingness to roll up sleeves & get stuff done
  • Excellent program management skills
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required
