Marketing Manager

Position Description:

As a Marketing Manager, you willhelp to plan, develop and deploy marketing campaigns across multiple marketing channels, including email, search and online marketing, social media, events, and print . Assist with marketing campaign management ranging from creative work to analyzing campaign effectiveness. This is a regular full-time, exempt position. The Marketing Manager reports directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing and is located in Tucson Arizona.The Marketing Manager has supervisory responsibilities with one direct report.

Responsibilities:

Write and edit email and blog copy, webinar descriptions, promotional emails, customer newsletters, advertising landing page text, advertising headlines, text for flyers and brochures, website verbiage that aligns with company messaging, is grammatically accurate, and engages our target markets (parents, K-12 educators, administrators and clinical professionals, such as speech therapists and audiologists).

QA all campaigns, collateral and web content to ensure messaging and content are consistent and high quality.

Support the design and execution of strategic, end-to-end, integrated, multi-channel, customized lead generation and customer retention marketing campaigns.

Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns that align with specific initiatives, including writing and editing of content, collaborating with inside and field sales teams to develop content, etc.

Work with the Sr. Director of Marketing and other team members to synthesize results, derive insight, develop recommendations, and present findings.

Support ongoing marketing activities such as blog and social media strategy, market research, media buying, etc.

Additional marketing activities as requested.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree (marketing major preferred) or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant marketing experience.

Excellent written, creative and verbal communication skills, specifically in internal and external communications about corporate messaging as well as campaign details and logistics.

Experience with copy editing a wide range of materials and content.

Knowledge of and experience in one or more of the following marketing channels: email, online marketing (pay per click / Facebook advertising, social media, webinars), print, and/or events.

Demonstrated knowledge of marketing automation systems (such as Marketo) and CRM systems (such as Salesforce.com), or willingness to learn.

Must have strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent project management skills, and be able to collaborate, multi-task, and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs required.
