Marketing Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Manager will develop a 2019 marketing strategy for our current and new products. This will include different initiatives for optimizing KPI's, growth channels, website traffic, incoming leads, PR, and networking events. This role is perfect for someone who is performance and results orientated, while also bringing a high level of creativity and new ideas to the table.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Develop and lead the marketing strategy by utilizing the whole marketing mix; create strategies that maximize customer acquisition and retention. Your role is not simply about marketing communications, your remit will extend to all customer touchpoints and interfaces – you are charged with making the most of every customer opportunity

Develop a deep understanding of your market and its influencers, and use this knowledge to create needs-based customer-focused campaigns

Work with the Sales team to create campaigns to support new business activity. This will be campaign driven but could involve a variety of activities to create the demand.

Support successful delivery at every stage of the customer journey. Working with the customer-facing teams. create communications and supporting materials to ensure that customers see the benefit of our products and are retained.

Use digital channels and marketing automation to create lead generation funnels and customer lifecycle communications that foster a ‘cradle to grave’ approach to customer marketing

Track and measure the performance of campaigns; be able to demonstrate the effective and efficient use of resources, and ensure continuous improvement

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Demonstrable experience of creating and executing marketing campaigns that drive growth, utilizing all elements of the marketing mix (preferably within the EdTech sector)
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Web builders (WordPress and Wix) and Design (Adobe InDesign) experience
  • Positive, enthusiastic and tireless work ethic
  • A highly motivated, pragmatic self-starter, who can take a hands-on approach and be prepared to learn and adapt in order to drive continuous improvement
  • Ability to work in a team
