Digital Marketing Manager

BetterLesson is looking for a marketing professional to drive high performing demand generation programs and marketing funnel optimization tactics that consistently produce high quality leads for sales. In this role you will be responsible for a number of different inbound marketing tactics that creates demand for sales, including but not limited to email marketing, nurture program creation, search engine optimization, landing page conversion, social media, and more. You should be comfortable writing engaging copy on our marketing site, landing pages, and in emails with compelling calls to action. You should also be familiar with digging into analytics to optimize campaign performance.

BetterLesson is looking for a marketing professional to drive high performing demand generation programs and marketing funnel optimization tactics. In this role you will own the direction and execution of our inbound marketing strategy with the goal of promoting the company’s products and services in the digital space and creating high quality leads for sales. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, owning the management of the BetterLesson HubSpot instance, SEO/SEM, website optimization, and social media strategy. You will develop and use analytics and reporting to optimize performance across channels. This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing.

7. Reporting & Analytics

You are:

● A highly motivated self-starter with proven marketing and lead generation knowledge

● Highly experienced with HubSpot, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Go to Webinar, WordPress, and other marketing tools and platforms

● Knowledgeable of landing page conversion tactics and strategies

● Experienced in configuring and managing funnel statistics via CRM and Marketing Automation software

● Capable of developing and managing social media campaigns in a business setting

● Deeply committed to ensuring that a greater number of educators receive the professional learning support they need to create student-centered classrooms

You will:

● Own the BetterLesson HubSpot instance from strategy to execution ensuring that the instance reflects BetterLesson’s value, products, services, and sales cycle and ensuring campaigns are executed on time across channels

● Leverage content from across the organization in digital channels to generate and nurture leads

● Create and manage lead acquisition campaigns, monitor performance, and adjust accordingly including SEO/SEM, social media, email, and nurture campaigns

● Utilize search engine marketing tactics to generate site traffic and convert site traffic through call to actions, landing pages, and lead generation content

● Build, manage, and grow social media profiles and presence

● Manage the BetterLesson blog to generate more blog content, grow blog subscribers, converting visitors into leads, and expanding our blog's overall reach

● Plan, manage, coordinate and execute all webinars

● Monitor and analyze lead behavior to understand how our inbound marketing activity brings in new customers, make adjustments to their buyer’s journey, and continually refine the process to optimize conversion

● Track and report on website and campaign performance data

You have:

● BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications or related fields

● Minimum of 3 years of growth marketing experience

● Demonstrable success in a B2B marketing environment, integrating with sales and driving qualified leads

● Experience with HubSpot, Google Analytics, Salesforce, WordPress, and other marketing tools and platforms

● Experience with digital media advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter

● Knowledge of landing page conversion tactics and strategies

● Strong email marketing experience

● Proficient with HTML, Excel, PowerPoint, WordPress and other business programs and tools

● Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously to meet deadlines

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

● Lead generation experience in a B2B EdTech company preferred; a familiarity with the priorities of K-12 district leaders

● Experience in configuring and managing funnel statistics via CRM and Marketing Automation software

● Must be a highly motivated self-starter with proven marketing and lead generation knowledge
