Marketing Director, Campaign Strategy

WHO WE ARE SEEKING:

Were looking for a marketing leader who can use their passion and marketing chops to share our story to entice like-minded educators from around the globe to join us as our Marketing Director, Campaign Strategy.

The Marketing Director, Campaign Strategy leads the project management and email marketing teams to develop and execute audience-based, multichannel campaigns to promote ISTE + ASCDs mission, vision, products, and services. This role manages the team responsible for building awareness and engagement and ultimately driving the marketing pipeline for all products, programs, and events. The Marketing Director works collaboratively with stakeholders and leadership to prioritize and develop campaigns to meet revenue goals and board KPIs through data-driven decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Senior Director of Digital Marketing in the planning and execution of fully-integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives to support the organizations goals and objectives.
  • Be responsible for leading and managing a team of marketing and project management professionals by providing daily oversight and guidance in order to set priorities, streamline efficiencies and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Work one-on-one with staff to assist in goal setting and provide professional coaching as needed.
  • Prioritize, schedule, assign, and track marketing projects from inception through completion to ensure effective planning, timeline management, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Execute the digital marketing strategy for D2C and B2B customers, which includes marketing and content automation, email marketing, and other forms of digital media in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Establish and manage systems and processes for tracking and reporting data used to measure the impact of marketing and digital efforts.
  • Make recommendations to refine existing or launch new efforts based on data analysis. Types of metrics tracked will include but are not limited to, conversions, website traffic, click-through rates, etc.

WHAT MATTERS TO US:

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in marketing, business, advertising, or related communications field
  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing-focused positions with a proven track record in project management
  • Solid knowledge of campaign reporting and analysis
  • Experience (or strong interest) in education a plus
  • Knowledge of project management software, Asana, a plus
  • Passionate about marketing and actively seeks out ways to improve the function
  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional manager
  • Adept at developing positioning and messaging that will resonate with audiences
  • Effective vendor manager
