Marketing Coordinator

Breathe For Change - Madison, Wisconsin or Remote - Full time

Breathe For Change is hiring a team member with a background in education, specifically in school and district sales and email marketing. This person will be responsible for implementing and measuring the efficacy of our new B2B sales and marketing initiatives, spearheading copy and campaigns to cultivate outbound and inbound K12 leads.

The ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated, adaptable, creative content writer who can speak to and grow our community through various communication channels. A successful candidate in this role will care deeply about the craft of marketing, identify as a detail-oriented task-doer and writer, and be able to self-start in a remote work environment and be responsible for balancing multiple duties and communication threads throughout the day including Slack messages, email, and phone. We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience marketing to a diverse group of education administrators in PK12 public education
  • Demonstrated efficacy copywriting and content marketing for lead generation and nurture campaigns
  • Prior experience with Salesforce, Pardot, and email marketing tools
  • Willingness to learn new B2B marketing and sales platforms and tools
  • Adaptable mindset, balancing the need to be both self-sufficient and collaborative

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with SquareSpace, Apollo and Pardot
  • Email marketing knowledge, particularly sales campaign optimization
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation and journey mapping
  • Personal wellness practice and commitment to lifelong social-emotional learning
  • Experience designing and delivering live webinars or virtual events 

Position Responsibilities and Objectives:

Implement the details of our marketing strategy, increase brand awareness, and manage social media. This person will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Digital Ad Strategist to:

  • Grow and nurture our subscriber base by owning copy for and optimize marketing email communications to administrators beyond the current Breathe For Change community.
  • Collaborate with design and sales to refine and expand upon existing B2B marketing and sales strategy.
  • Develop B2B sales enablement collateral for Breathe For Change product offerings.
  • Managing everyday tasks to support marketing such as website design and copy, and some social media management.
