The Manager of Web Properties is a full-time, exempt, salaried position at the nonprofit National School Choice Awareness Foundation, Inc. The Manager of Web Properties reports to the Vice President of Public Awareness within the Public Awareness Department and is eligible to participate in the organization’s telecommuting policy and full suite of benefits, which are described in the Employee Policy Memorandum and Employee Handbook.
Primary responsibilities of this position include: maintaining the functionality and user experience of the organization’s several websites, identifying and implementing SEO and mobile usability improvements to the sites, and building new pages and posts according to different departments’ specifications. Secondary responsibilities of this position include: project management of complex web projects with an external vendor, organizational data privacy and security, and managing integrations between the sites and other applications.
The incumbent’s performance will be measured annually via a performance evaluation, which will consider the employee’s success at achieving the goals set forth by the employee’s supervisor, the employee’s adherence to the organization’s policies, and the employee’s contributions to the organization’s exempt charitable activities. Specific qualifications include 1-3 years of relevant professional experience, front end development technical expertise, a collaborative and positive approach to problem solving, and a willingness and ability to work independently with virtual/remote supervision.
