Manager, Marketing Operations

BellXcel - Remote - Full time

The Manager, Marketing Operations is at the center of the marketing team. From marketing project management, conference and event coordination, this role has a hand in ensuring the success of nearly every marketing activity.

Position Overview:

You’re a go-getter, figure-it-out, resourceful team player at the center of the BellXcel marketing hub. You’re in the front seat of a dynamic, fast-moving team experience… and you’re reading the map. Strong organizational skills are leveraged daily as you know where every project is in the process and actively mitigate risks to successful completion. Details are your jam. You proactively look for and implement ways to streamline processes, organize assets, and keep the team – and organization - humming. You’re also viewed as the go-to person around the org as the best path for marketing and communications resources.

Position Accountabilities

The Manager, Marketing Operations will join the bustling, energetic and virtual marketing team. All marketing projects, company events, conferences/tradeshows, awards and asset management are the responsibility of this role to shepherd from inception to successful completion.

Specific accountabilities include:

- Manage multiple projects, processes, and feedback loops across departments to facilitate internal customer collaboration and desired results.

- Manage coordination of analytics, reporting, and team dashboards to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and channels.

- Coordinate BellXcel’s presence at industry conferences, tradeshows, and events, including proactively maintaining and communicating all deadlines and requirements for all aspects of potential participation – from presenting, sponsorship, exhibiting and/or attending.

- Ensure marketing deliverables meet objectives, are on time, in budget and within quality.

- Optimize and audit existing systems and processes and with consideration for continued growth across the organization, proactively recommend methods to evolve and strengthen operating processes and tools.

- Proactively manage cross-organizational interdependencies and risks with strong mitigation strategies—developing an escalation process as necessary.

- Build and actively manage review structures for all marketing deliverables that are effective and efficient from the start.

- Maintain BellXcel’s internal communications portal – update and catalog high-quality collateral and other critical deliverables/ information for employee access in one place.

Position Requirements

At least 3-5 years of communications experience in business environment(s). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic virtual work environment is preferred. Proven expertise to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Additionally:

- Bachelor’s degree required

- Commercial sector experience preferred

- Expertise in google suite tools

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Salesforce

- Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms, such as HubSpot

- Ability to adapt to change with resilience and creativity

- Strong eye for detail with analytical aptitude

- Expertise in project management processes and tools

- Enthusiastic about applying a systems thinking approach to how work get accomplished

- Excellent judgement and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution

- Superior written, oral, and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively interface and influence colleagues

- Ability to build credibility and trust through demonstrated ethical behaviors and standards, given some information may be confidential and sensitive

- Support BellXcel’s presence at conferences and partner site visits

Additional Qualifications

- In addition to savvy organizational skills, as a new position for the organization, this individual will evaluate, implement, manage and optimize the systems and processes related to the marketing and comms team function. This role requires clear communication capability, keen insight into group dynamics and strong relationship building.
