Our Company

We're a growing team of people who love what they do. Our primary goal is to help teachers get better; and if teachers get better, then students will also get better. We do this by deploying a video-based teacher observation and feedback platform that makes it really easy for teachers to record themselves teaching and then seek and recieve instant feedback from mentors and peers.


  • Work with CEO to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy to help Torsh achieve and surpass company objectives
  • Develop and maintain the company’s publication calendar to include all press releases, social media posts, blog posts, and other opportunities (i.e. Forbes blog).
  • Manage the publication process; includes assigning work to freelance writers and other contributors as needed; ensuring all submissions are on message and accurately reflect the company and CEO’s points of view; overseeing deadlines to ensure compliance with the publication calendar; and factoring in SEO as appropriate.
  • Maintain content on the company website; Ensure site is always up-to-date and accurately reflects current messages; make suggestions for additional content, organization and layout as necessary.
  • Plan and execute all company social media campaigns across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Help CEO cultivate a strong personal social media presence (Twitter, LinkedIn) to position him as a thought leader in education.
  • Devise marketing campaigns and assume lead role in the development of content (for example, writing and designing marketing materials and other collateral).
  • Work in conjunction with internal design team to ensure that all brand, sales and marketing collateral (e.g, sales decks, business cards, logos, etc.) are consistent and reflect the company’s strategic objectives and direction
  • Ensure that marketing Key Performance Indicators are appropriately tracked and reported to company senior leadership; Make suggestions to the CEO regarding how the company can improve KPIs.
  • Ability to work with Google Analytics, Google Qualtrics, Google Analytics 360 suite to optimize performance, customer research, etc.
  • Work in conjunction with external Public Relations expert(s) to ensure company news and messages are in line with overall marketing strategies, and are reaching maximum audience.
  • Plan and execute marketing webinars to educate and inform current and prospective customers about the various benefits of Torsh and Torsh Talent.
  • Tackle special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Position Requirements

    Formal Education & Certification

  • Four year university degree is required
  • Knowledge & Experience

  • Demonstrated proficiency in marketing, public relations and social media management.
  • Familiarity with the field of education is preferred.
  • Personal Attributes

  • Strong leadership capabilities; able to successfully direct members of a team to achieve company objectives.
  • Able to juggle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptionally self-motivated.
  • High level of personal accountability.
  • Top-notch written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of all facets of social media management.
  • Superior work ethic and high energy level.

  • The Manager, Marketing and Public Relations will be compensated with a competitive combination of base salary, commission, benefits and equity.

    This role is based in New Orleans, LA. Relocation expenses will be reimbursed.
