Customer Success Lead (Raleigh, NC)

IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 8 million students worldwide, is seeking a customer-focused, motivated individual to lead a new team in our customer success organization. In this role, you will work with IXL leadership to grow a customer onboarding team from the ground up. You will build upon IXL’s existing onboarding processes to ensure successful IXL launch and implementation for all site licenses, and lead and manage the customer success team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with technology, supporting customers, and managing others. This person must be well-organized, flexible, and have strong communication skills. We are looking for a self-starter that will support our rapidly growing customer base.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Build upon IXL’s existing onboarding framework to ensure timely and efficient product launches for all site-license customers
  • Lead and scale a world-class Customer Success team that delivers engaging and impactful onboarding experiences for all new IXL customers
  • Provide customers with expert support on the IXL product and effective classroom implementation strategies
  • Collaborate with other customer-facing teams to facilitate smooth hand-offs throughout the customer journey
  • Regularly evaluate and improve onboarding processes
  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of Customer Success Managers

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • BA/BS degree
  • 3+ years of experience in a people management role with a proven track record with building customer-centric customer success teams
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with web-based technologies in either customer success, account management, or professional development roles
  • Proven track record of driving results such as revenue growth, retention targets and renewal rates
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finish
  • Detail-oriented, exceptionally organized and analytical
  • Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology
  • Educational technology, K12 classroom, educational sales, or related educational experience is strongly desired
