LearnLaunch Campus is a thriving co-working space dedicated to connecting, supporting, and growing the Boston area’s education technology community.

Position Overview

The Campus Manager occupies an essential position in the organization as we continue to expand our role as the leader in the Edtech community. As the face of the organization, the Campus Manager will be expected to interact professionally with the members of this community, including education industry leaders, Edtech investors, entrepreneurs, educators, and visitors, from within the U.S. and internationally. This is a “hands-on” position, with responsibilities that are primarily administrative and operational in nature, but also include significant marketing and communications responsibilities essential to representing LearnLaunch in the community.

Specific Responsibilities

Maintain a professional work environment that supports the mission of the Campus:– Welcome guests to the space and ensure that we log basic information for each visitor;– Keep the kitchen clean & stocked, with utensils/supplies stored neatly and equipment in working order on a daily basis;– Ensure conference rooms and shared spaces are kept tidy on a daily basis;– Coordinate with the landlord to ensure availability of building services and utilities;– Manage supplier relationships to ensure office and kitchen supplies are delivered on time;– Oversee vendors to ensure that network and IT support services are provided as contracted.

Grow a vibrant co-working space with a strong sense of community:– Plan and execute events that bring together members in a social setting;– Organize activities that are not only fun but also contribute to the greater good;– Foster cooperation among members to self-maintain a clean and organized space.

Manage efficient use of LearnLaunch Campus space, including:– Maintaining a calendar of events held in the space;– Tracking event and conference room reservations;– Monitoring use of shared resource to ensure fairness of use among members;– Tracking Campus expenses to ensure adherence to budget;– Managing the rental of office and desks, including collecting monthly rent from members.

Lead efforts to market LearnLaunch Campus and grow membership by:– Creating marketing and advertising campaigns that showcase the space;– Leading tours of the space to visitors and prospective members;– Actively working with outside groups interested in renting Campus space.

Assist LearnLaunch management staff with administrative and operational tasks including.– Planning and executing events for LearnLaunch and LearnLaunch corporate partners;– Providing design, marketing, and operational support for LearnLaunch events;– Tracking and processing orders for supplies and equipment for LearnLaunch.

Manage & market LearnLaunch’s edtech job board, iwannaworkinedtech.com

Perform other duties as required to further the mission of LearnLaunch.

Job Requirements:

Ideal Candidate

– Some experience in similar capacity

– Some post-secondary education

– Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

– Experience with Google product suite: Gmail, Drive, Docs, etc.

– Ability to take direction and work independently and autonomously

– You are: Flexible, driven, positive and care about playing your pivotal role in continuing LearnLaunch’s role as a vibrant education community.

Compensation: $15 per hour
