This position supports the work of the Digital Solutions team within the Office of Enterprise Solutions. The Digital Solutions team creates custom low code web solutions while supporting legacy high code applications until they transition to low code. The team also supports other Digital Solution services in support of the LCPS community.The Lead Web Developer leads the development team with a focus on vision, quality, best practices and on-time delivery. This position operates at all levels, diving deep into the details and providing strategic solutioning inputs. The Lead works with Business Analysts as liaison with stakeholders to address design and development questions and thinks outside of the box to creatively incorporate new information into solutions. In this role, business concepts, data flows and standards are understood so that important connections are made as solutions scale.To external teams, the Lead represents the team at meetings, is comfortable presenting solutions, keeps the end user in mind when solutioning and can communicate complex ideas effectively. Internally, the Lead makes technical decisions, leads development discussions, ensures compliance and reusability, has a passion for delivery, while supporting team building.
