K12 Vice President, Software Development

Hire Education - Dallas, Texas - Full time

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field

Minimum of 10 years of experience leading software development teams

Demonstrated ability to manage applications at a scale of greater than 100,000 users

Experience deploying applications using cloud hosting providers such as AWS or Azure

Experience managing software development that impacts K-12 teaching and learning

Ability and willingness to collaborate with technical and nontechnical leaders

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

Advanced degree (MA, MS, PhD) in software related discipline

Experience creating and managing APIs

Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize assignments

Must be creative and collaborative with internal and external customers when addressing data needs
