K12 STEM Independent Sales Expert

NextWaveSTEM is an education start-up founded in 2017 with the goal of giving all students equitable access to STEM education. By helping teachers get students interested in emerging technologies today, we’re building a critical foundation for positive STEM outcomes tomorrow.

NextWaveSTEM provides curriculum and hands-on learning tools that enable K12 districts to implement drones, robotics, 3D printing, and A.I. programs both during and after school. With nearly 25,000 students and teachers already using our solutions, NextWaveSTEM is poised for growth and is looking for an experienced Independent Account Executive to join our team.

The K-12 Education Sales Expert has at least five years of proven experience selling K12 education solutions to schools and districts. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing a sales pipeline by prospecting for new opportunities and following up on inbound leads.
  • Conducting discovery meetings.
  • Delivering demonstrations over virtual meeting platforms.
  • Developing business proposals for qualified prospects.
  • Negotiating partner contracts and closing business.
  • Attending industry conferences and events when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of demonstrable inside sales experience in the K-12 marketplace.
  • Must be a champion at prospecting
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic business plans in an assigned sales territory.
  • Excellent written and in-person communication skills.
  • A strong ability to present complex solutions in a virtual environment.
  • Superior organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree strongly preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $72,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
