K12 Sales Development Representative

About Us

Sisu is a modern take on mental health care for teenagers and their families. Sisu is designed by therapists to be engaging and intuitive for teens, communicating in their native digital language to build social and emotional resilience skills. We have developed an MTSS platform that can be personalized to the needs of schools whether for dialing up or down programming based on the classroom needs.

Role

The sisu team is looking to hire an Educational Sales Consultant to work closely with our CEO and Sales Strategist. This role will be a contract position with the ability to turn into a permanent position depending on the success of the next period of our development.

Responsibilities

  • Direct Sales: Building pipeline of K12 educational institutions for sisu’s core programming and successfully closing on multiple sales opportunities
  • Lead Generation : Conducting initial outreach, lead qualification, and sales funnel activities related to pipeline
  • Attending school conferences and other events related to sales strategy
  • Sales Enablement: assisting the Sales Strategist with webinars and other thought leadership-driven initiatives for lead generation
  • Account Management: Working closely with Sales Strategist and Product Manager related to client feedback and incorporating it into the product.

  • Passion for mental wellness and personal development
  • Stellar communication skills and lover of all things transparency
  • Cultural competency; must be able to work with a variety of personalities and diverse backgrounds
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
  • Problem solver at heart and one who understands the true meaning of jugaad
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and strong sense of ownership over one’s own work
  • Previous K12, private, or charter sales experience and track record of a successful closing on multiple deals within the educational or edtech space

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with remote or asynchronous working styles
  • Sense of humor
  • Prior startup experience
  • Strong connection to the educational space, whether as a teacher or someone who believes in the power of educational systems

Salary

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Location

Remote, but must be accessible during traditional US business hours and have solid access to wifi. This role may have some requirements to travel, but less than 10%.
