K-12 Market Development -- Sales and Marketing Hybrid (remote ok)

Edthena is seeking someone to join our team in a new role focused on demand generation. This person will sit at the nexus of sales and marketing -- focusing on how to effectively engage potential partners in a scalable way while using rigorous methods to measure the impact on the sales pipeline.

The person in this role will:

  • Take direct ownership of engaging a set of East Coast states using sales development tactics like outbound emailing and calling.
  • Work as a strategic partner across our team via work like content production for existing channels, optimizing sales team email campaign effectiveness, assisting with conference operations, and designing/implementing new methods for prospect engagement.

A candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate:

  • Direct experience with K-12 curriculum and instruction topics. Ideally, specific knowledge of teacher PD,
  • Excellent written communication skills, and
  • Proficiency in setting goals, measuring progress, and tracking outcomes.

Prior experience should include:

  • At least 1.5 years of sales experience leveraging inside tactics, OR
  • Experience as a classroom teacher / district official

Part of this role is clear cut, and part is very experimental. We’ll want to understand how you’ve done in ambiguous work environments previously.

If you are applying from outside San Francisco, we will require that you have experience working with a remote team.
