Upstate NY K-12 Sales Executive

This role is perfect for a highly motivated candidate who has a passion for education, loves technology and enjoys sales!

The successful candidate will be a quick learner, emotionally intelligent and possess a strong desire to achieve personal and team sales goals. They will be able to deliver high level, in depth K-12 product demonstrations and communicate and network with districts leaders in an engaging manner. They enjoy work the most when working as an integral part of a talented and dynamic team that is shaping the future of the business.

Previous experience working with NY Districts & BOCES is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include:

Rapidly grow NY region for Boardworks with pioneering district sales focused on new business using awarded BOCES contract

Conduct engaging and in depth, face to face and online product demonstrations to School Districts

Book and attend meetings and conferences at the county and state level

Stay up to date with edtech news and advancements within schools and the industry as a whole

Hit and surpass set sales revenue targets on a consistent basis

Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing sales

Build a network of district references, case studies and contacts

Use the company CRM to generate, manage and track sales leads and opportunities

Create successful e-mail campaigns to generate sales leads and interest
