Jr. Project Manager

Teamed - Washington D.C., District of Columbia or Remote - Full time

Expected start: Early January 2019

30-40 hours per week

Strayer University is seeking a Jr. Project Manager to support the redesign and development of online courses. As the Jr. Project Manager you will be responsible for managing 1-5 course development projects concurrently. You will work with stakeholders and team members to create project schedules, track progress, facilitate meetings, present updates, track costs, and identify potential and actual risks as well as manage risks.

The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in the learning design and development field, but recent graduates will also be considered. You must have a working knowledge of online course design processes, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be highly reliable and flexible.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of industry experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively work with a multifunctional and geographically dispersed team
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical skills: Microsoft Office Suite, PM tools (Excel, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred in relevant field
