Position Summary

The IT Manager/Salesforce Admin will maintain information technology strategies, systems and overall infrastructure researching and implementing technological strategic solutions, troubleshooting and resolving technology. They will manage resources and processes required to design, plan and support all information products and services. Research and evaluate new technologies to be used as enhancements or upgrades to existing server, network and other IT infrastructure equipment. They must work collaboratively and effectively amongst the various departments within the organization.

Job Duties

  • Running regular checks on network and data security
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
  • Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization including upgrades to ticket request process
  • Designing training programs and workshops for staff
  • Conducting regular system audits
  • Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
  • Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, integrations and outages
  • Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
  • Providing direction for IT team members
  • Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
  • Troubleshooting staff support request
  • Developing and maintaining a disaster recovery plan
  • Providing technical expertise to internal systems integrations
  • Other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships

The IT Manager/Salesforce Admin reports to the Senior Director of Finance and Administration and will be a member of the PBLWorks Administration team.


The job will be located at PBLWorks headquarters in Novato, CA (accessible by Sonoma-Marin Smart Rail, Golden Gate Transit, Marin Transit and with lots of free parking).

Compensation / Benefits

The IT Manager/Salesforce Admin role is a full-time position with full health benefits, (including medical, vision and dental), generous retirement contribution, life and disability insurance and cell phone stipend.
