Institutional Account Executive

About the Role

As an Institutional Account Executive, you will develop and execute your sales plan by building your sales pipeline with qualified opportunities, and closing partnership agreements with prospective medical schools, nursing schools, physician assistant programs, and other health sciences programs. As our cross-functional teams play an active role in serving our institutional partnerships, you will work closely with our institutional engagement, customer success, product, technology, and marketing team members to help Osmosis provide an exceptional experience for administrators, faculty, and students.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Sourcing, negotiating and closing institutional agreements with medical, nursing, and other health education programs in an assigned region
  • Leading effective, engaging, and interactive presentations and product demonstrations with school administrators and faculty in both virtual and in-person environments
  • Relentless focus on building and managing your sales pipeline in Salesforce
  • Attending conferences and other events to meet with current and prospective clients
  • Managing the client transition from sale to onboarding with the customer success team
  • Leveraging Salesforce for revenue forecasting
  • Helping shape sales team strategy and organization, including recruiting

This position is remote. When business travel is authorized to resume, this role will require up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years successfully selling educational software solutions to deans, program directors, and other key stakeholders at higher education institutions
  • Experience using SalesForce or other CRM to proactively manage your sales pipeline
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize and leverage data to influence institutional purchase decisions
  • Serving internal and external stakeholders with the highest level of integrity and professionalism

Preferred attributes

  • A background in medical or health education
  • Existing relationships with health science programs in the United States
  • Previous client management experience as a management consultant or in a similar function
