Inside Sales Representative- TransACT ParentNotices

Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is an integral part of TransACT sales team. TransACT® Parent Notices is an online database of translated parent notifications that help school districts and state departments of education meet federal funding and civil rights requirements. This role is responsible for the whole sales funnel, including prospecting, building relationships and closing. The ideal candidate will be able to establish credibility senior administrators in a school district, charter network, or state Department of Education, and navigate a buying cycle that changes depending on the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acquire new customers by developing leads through cold calling, prospecting and qualifying new potential customers.
  • Use referral channels and networking skills to establish relationships and generate appointments.
  • Collaboratively produce email and phone scripts to follow up with and qualify leads from a variety of sources.
  • Articulate TransACT’s Parent Notices product offering in a unique and compelling manner which can change depending on the persona.
  • Identify and create non-traditional pathways to sales opportunity by engaging new customer personas.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to coordinate efforts on short term and long term projects or campaigns.
  • Establish and maintain accurate tracking of outreach in TransACT’s Customer Relationship Management tool on a timely basis, ensuring adherence to the complete sales cycle.
  • Communicate in a timely and effective manner with the sales and operations teams, providing updates on forecasting and sales activity.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify opportunities and launch new messaging campaigns.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Measurable success in acquiring new business through prospecting school district administration(s)
  • Prior lead generation and/or sales prospecting experience preferred
  • Background in education or with education agencies preferred
  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application, HubSpot preferred
  • Passion for education
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous writing skills
  • Desire to work in and be a part of an organization that thrives on hard work and success
  • Willingness to exhibit stewardship of the TransACT business and its brand
