Inside Sales Account Executive

The position is fully remote and will work alongside internal enterprise sales, our customer success and marketing teams, a co-founder, as well as a larger sales team at our partner Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.

In this role, you will:

• Actively move leads through the sales pipeline while learning about a potential teacher or school leader’s instructional needs
• Educate and engage new prospects by answering questions or sending on-demand resources.

• Make outgoing sales calls seeking to expand from teacher access to school-level purchase
• Handle incoming inquiries, including school-level demo requests
• Qualify and nurture active teachers during trials and pilots, seeking to convert them to school-level sales
• Conduct on-demand online demos via video conference
• Maintain deal updates and pipeline health through real-time use of CRM (HubSpot)
• Manage renewal quotes via quote automation software, PandaDoc
• Proactively search for new, innovative ways to build and grow the business
• Measure and report out on key metrics of success
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration across enterprise sales, marketing, co-founders, and customer success teams.

• Motivated to meet / surpass self-created goals
• Adaptable to change, it’s how you learn and grow
• Proficient in the use of a CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce preferred)
• Experienced at selling and communicating via technology (i.e. Zoom, Meet, Teams)
• Committed to educational equity
• Completing your first 2-5 years of K12 educational sales or partnership role and looking to join a small team where you’ll shine
• Experienced at a role in the K-12 education space
• BA/BS college degree
