Inside Sales Account Executive

Purpose of the Role: Through effective relationships, the Inside Account Executive - Assessment & PD is responsible for achieving Services sales and profit objectives for their assigned territory and collaboratively working with Field Account Executives to achieve overall team quota.

Primary Accountabilities:• Knowledge of trends and common challenges facing educators and administrators to effectively communicate with customers and understand their needs.

  • Effectively position professional development and consulting services to address clients’ needs.
  • Proactive collaboration with Field Sales to develop and implement joint territory plan.
  • Works with Field Team to effectively integrate Inside Sales campaigns and strategies to drive success in territory.
  • Develops account strategies and territory plans that address customer needs and issues while meeting assigned quotas; targets and prioritizes accounts and activities; analyzes competitors' activities and adjusts appropriately
  • Strategically plans sales calls by outlining objectives and action steps.
  • Reads the market, recognizes trends, and communicates that information to sales management
  • Demonstrates knowledge of account history, the processes and procedures specific to each district, and the key issues for each account.
  • Responds to customers' requests and problems with appropriate timeliness and concern; Develops professional credibility and trust with the customer.
  • Develops proposals and contracts
  • Job Requirements:


    • Required: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree.
    • 3-5 years sales experience with a proven track record in meeting quota.
    • Educational sales experience and teaching skills are desirable.
    • K12 classroom teaching experience with curriculum specialization in Math is preferred.
    • Proficient in MS Office and Sales Management Software (

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:• Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).• The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

  • Travel 10 - 20 % of the time
  • Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.• The ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
