The Role:

Through effective relationships, the Inside Account Executive is responsible for achieving sales and profit objectives for their assigned territory and collaboratively working with Field Account Executives to achieve overall team quota. As an integral part of our Sales Team, you'll support relationship building, prospect qualifying, and consultative selling that will help drive the growth of our business.


  • -Research leads and initiate outreach efforts via email & phone
  • -Respond to inbound inquiries
  • -Initiate communication with prospects prior to conferences and manage follow up cadence after conferences
  • -Perform prospect needs & qualifications analysis
  • -Secure appointments and conduct product 
  • demonstrations online and offline so customers can fully understand BetterLesson’s value proposition
  • -Negotiate pricing and prepare proposals
  • -Close business
  • -Upsell and cross-sell to existing customers
  • -Track and update customer sales information & status of pipelines in CRM system. Maintain real time activity in Salesforce
  • -Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to marketing team
  • -Complete special projects as assigned

Desired Skills:

Excellent organizational and writing skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines. Ability to mentor/influence team members to ensure marketing projects are moving forward. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Experience building bridges as you are crossing them. Desire to work in a fast paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results.
