We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team. This role will provide exemplary employee support and carry out key HR operations, including payroll, leaves, benefits, and compliance. The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in cultivating a workplace of positivity, upholding policies with excellence, and championing ANet's core values and anti-racist standards.


Execute day-to-day HR operations

● Serve as a liaison with ANet's Professional Employer Organization (PEO), Insperity

● Manage multi-state payroll processing and administer employer-sponsored benefits plans (health, disability, 401K, etc.)

● Administer leaves, ensuring awareness of various options and eligibility under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local leave laws, and short-term or long-term disability plans

● Collaborate with teammates and employees to enhance core HR processes, including onboarding, payroll execution, leave management, and benefits administration

Provide exemplary employee support and communications

● Oversee ANet's HR inbox, serving as the primary contact for employee inquiries

● Act as a liaison and spokesperson for HR team initiatives and policies; craft clear and concise communications

● Enhance and maintain ANet's internal HR intranet pages, anticipating impactful HR communications

● Develop tools and templates supporting HR policies; craft reference materials for open enrollment and onboarding, offboarding, and transition guidance

Evaluate ANet's policies and people systems and recommend and implement efficiencies

● Support the Director, Human Resources and People Operations with policy development

● Collaborate with cross-functional relationships with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Accounting, and TechX teams to simplify and improve effective workflows

● Collaborate with the Talent Analyst on internal and external requests for employee data

● Implement HR policies and conduct mandatory reporting, including EEO and Affirmative Action Plan


To be successful in this role, ideal candidates must demonstrate the following:

● 3-5 years of proven HR support focusing on excellent employee experiences

● Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills

● A customer-service orientation, adept at flexible and efficient service delivery

● Proactive mindset, seeking continuous improvement in HR processes

● Ability to craft clear and succinct communication for effective stakeholder interactions

● Experience in multi-state HR management with knowledge of relevant laws

● Demonstrated ability to handle confidential data with discretion and professionalism

Ideal candidates may also demonstrate the following preferred qualifications:

● Experience working with Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs), specifically Insperity.

● Experience implementing HR best practices aligned with organizational goals

● Experience in various Human Resources domains (Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, and Talent Development)

● A track record of making recommendations and crafting policies to enhance overall employee experiences

The salary range for this position is between $65,769.60-$97,593.60. New hires will start between the range minimum and midpoint ($65,769.60-$81,090.00) based on qualifications assessed during the hiring process, past experience, and internal equity.
