Head of Marketing

Riverside Insights - Remote - Full time

Elevating potential is what we do, and research-based assessments and technology is how we do it.ESGI is our elementary progress monitor solution, and we are currently looking for a data-driven, strategic thinker who can lead our marketing and customer acquisition group. The Head of Marketing is a fully remote position thatwill promote digital marketing and will report to and collaborate with the CEO.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all marketing and sales strategies, including digital marketing, targeted campaigns, lead conversion and new customer acquisition.
  • Develop the business case and growth strategy forourdigital marketing campaigns and customer acquisition.
  • Develop targeted marketing action plans that clearly define goals, objectives, schedules, and assignments necessary to reach growth goals.
  • Conduct ongoing micro-segmentation analysis to understand market trendsandcustomer behavior.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with target market educators, luminaries, partners, and publishers.
  • Oversee and verify reporting of sales and marketing activities, including leads generated, tracking reports, sales orders, and related ROI for marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute as a key member of the ESGI leadership team, valuable insights, and experiences relevant to long and short-term company success.
  • Supervise marketing and account management teams and recruit new members when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Excellent listening, communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Proven success as a team leader who builds and expands a committed department culture
  • Proven ability to implement digital marketing strategies including SEO, social media, influencer marketing and retargeting
  • Strong verbal, written and editing skills
  • High energy and creative, entrepreneurial, and comfortable with risk

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in successfully leading a marketing team
  • Experience working across stakeholder groups to execute on go-to-market strategic initiatives
  • Ability to travel to meet with partners, attend conferences and research new markets as needed
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot)

Preferred:

  • K12 market experience
  • Practical experience with, or solid understanding of, the digital marketing ecosystem
  • Analytical experience focused on ROI and customer acquisition costs
  • Excellent program management ability and experience

COMPENSATION 

Competitive compensation based on prior experience and earnings.
