Growth Marketing Manager

Meg - Remote - Full time


The Meg Languages mission is to create global citizens by providing unique and memorable intercultural and language experiences for all K-12 students. Our primary service is providing Spanish and Mandarin programs to K12 schools by connecting classrooms with our professional teachers in Latin America and China who deliver lessons over video conference into the classroom.


Meg Languages completed a rebrand in the last 18 months and is looking for someone who will be excited to support a startup in becoming a household name in the education marketplace.

The Growth Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing on a marketing strategy directed at schools and school networks across USA, Canada, Australia, the UK and New Zealand.

Key areas of focus will include strengthening brand and boosting brand awareness, developing long and short-term push and pull strategies, generating original content for a segmented marketing strategy, measuring the success of customer acquisition funnels as well as managing social media.


Develop marketing strategy

  • Segment customer base for distinct strategies across geographies, school sectors, school types and networks
  • Identify specific content and channels for each customer segment across the acquisition funnel - sowing the seeds for long term qualified lead generation as well as short term lead generation
  • Identify brand awareness strategies

Execute marketing strategy

  • Generate original content and collaborate with channel-specific partners (case studies, videos, blog, email, social media, etc.) to support the marketing strategy
  • Manage ad placement, social media and sales-related conference commitments
  • Ensure outward-facing content across the business align with brand guidelines

Measure effectiveness of marketing strategy

  • Manage key conversion points in the marketing funnel, including landing pages, website calls-to-action (CTAs), and lead-generating forms.
  • A/B test and continually measure the performance of these conversion assets.


  • BA/BS degree, preferably in marketing or business.
  • 3 years of marketing and demand generation experience.
  • Familiarity with the education sector is preferred, but not mandatory, however commitment to global education is essential.
  • Experience with web analytics, A/B testing, email and paid media channels
  • Experience developing and executing a content marketing strategy
  • Proficient using CRMs to optimize for lifecycle stage and progressively profile leads.
  • Experience working closely with business/sales development reps to solicit feedback and ensure quality of leads.
  • Deep understanding of how to manage and optimize the lead handoff from marketing to sales.
  • Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through testing and optimization.
