Our customers build interactive courseware and e-textbooks; we provide the educational media that brings these spaces to life. We enhance the digital learning experience for K12 and higher-ed students with engaging videos that offer real-world context, virtual field trips, and quality instruction. Enabled by our API, we deliver these enriched videos to the right student at the right time in their learning journey.

About the Role

We are looking to make our first hire in performance marketing and demand generation, this role will likely become our Head of Marketing in the future. You'll span both sales and marketing teams. In this role, you will be helping to define the next phase of Boclips’ brand in the K12 and higher-ed market. This role involves plenty of cross-functional interaction and the ability to have big impact. Here are a few of the projects you’ll lead;

  • Inbound lead generation. You'll find ways to increase traffic to our site from the right prospects; digital curriculum developers, edtech platforms and educational institutions.
  • Ownership of Boclips website. Building a first class experience and customer journey through the site.
  • Digital strategy. You’ll look into our digital ad performance and come up with a strategy to improve it; Using performance insights and business priorities to recommend and implement a strategy across social and digital channels.
  • Content Marketing. Your insights will help construct our content marketing strategy and working closely with our Content Marketer, you’ll come up with the right content ideas to nurture prospects and improve conversion from landing pages.
  • Cross-functional collaboration is key. You'll be part of a our sales team and will work on projects with our Product Designers, Product Marketing Manager and Content Marketing to evaluate, plan and implement marketing campaigns.

About You

  • Ideally you have some B2B SaaS experience collaborating closely with sales.
  • Your experience so far means you are able to build data-driven processes for optimising website performance and lead generation and you can align those processes to over-arching business goals.
  • You have tactics to refine the marketing funnel and produce qualified leads and can talk through lessons learned from experimenting.
  • You have experience with campaigns on social channels, especially Linkedin, YouTube and Facebook.
  • You may have a background in content marketing and have a knack for messaging.
  • You have some tools up your sleeve, we use Looker, Google Analytics and Hubspot.
  • You are passionate about the problem we are solving in education and are keen to make an impact.

What We Offer

  • Base salary $80-$90,000
  • Open to part-time (4 days / per week)
