Job Description

We are looking for our first full cycle recruiter! This new role will be responsible for the entire recruiting cycle, from sourcing candidates to assisting with onboarding new hires. Recruiting techniques should include both internal and external sourcing and headhunting to fill open roles within the outlined time to hire goal. The recruiter will also be responsible for managing all data analytics for the recruiting process as well as headcount metrics and reporting. If you are an experienced recruiter, this is an amazing opportunity to own and build out our first recruiting process and help design recruiting strategy!

The recruiter’s responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop and execute recruiting plans including partnering with hiring managers, creating job descriptions, actively sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, extending offers, and measuring and reporting the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
  • Network with and source candidates through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees
  • Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring funnel / process so that the processes are transparent and measurable
  • Set continuous improvement goals
  • Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives
  • Manage the hiring process in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), SmartRecruiters
  • Perform reference and background checks
  • Make candidate recommendations to hiring managers
  • Timely follow-up on the interview process status with candidates and hiring managers
  • Communicate employer information and benefits during screening process
  • Stay current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Create and manage diversity goals with the executive team and hiring managers
  • Conduct recruiting and onboarding surveys with candidates and new hires to ensure our processes meet the company’s objectives
  • Conduct periodic check-ins with new hires to ensure successful onboarding

  • 2+ years experience as a full cycle recruiter
  • You’re friendly, with above average communication skills (both written and oral)
  • You love networking and connecting with people
  • You are passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • You are calm under pressure and can handle stressful situations with a pleasant demeanor
  • You’re fluent in Google Docs, Dropbox, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and tech doesn’t scare you
  • You’re incredibly organized
