THEOPPORTUNITY

We are seekingan analytical,collaborative, and innovative Financial Analyst to support ANet'sfinancial and business analysis and operations.This position willplay a critical role in helping to build and innovate ANet'sfinance function while providing strategic financial analysis andinsights to key decision-makers. The ideal candidate has experiencenavigating diverse revenue streams for a growing organizationleveraging their technical, project management and interpersonalskills to drive impact. The Financial Analyst will report to theDirector of Financial Planning & Analysis.

WHAT YOU'LLDO

Executeon financialplanning & analysis activities to support ANet's financial healthand sustainability

Support the production ofmonthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders,including senior management, boards of directors, and public andprivate donors

Evaluate internal and externalfinancial trends and provide insightful, high-value analysis toinform budget planning and management

Estimate project costs, assiston resource & scenario planning exercises, and develop businesscases, as needed, to support return on investmentanalysis

Prepare short- and long-termfinancial projections in partnership with the Director of FinancialPlanning & Analysis

Identify opportunities toinnovate and implement changes to financial practices, policies andprocedures as they relate to budgeting and financialforecasting

Collaborate with Accounting toreview revenue and expense activities to ensure accurateallocations across our partners and activities

Support audit activities asneeded

Support financial compliancerequests including state, benefit and insurancereporting

Build,develop and maintain stakeholder relationships

Build and maintain robustrelationships with budget managers, senior leaders, and otherdecision-makers across the organization, helping to develop theircapacity in financial planning

Work closely with internalstakeholders to effectively track team and project budget andexpenditures

WHO YOU AREAND WHAT YOU BRING

In orderto be successful in this role, candidates mustdemonstratethe following:

You have 2-4 years ofexperience as a financial or business analyst

Youhave business analysis, operations and project managementexperience

You are energized by digginginto data with an analytical eye to determine the story that it'stelling you and understandhow to visualizedata effectively

You bring familiarity andcomfort with financial systems (e.g.QuickBooks, Salesforce, etc.) and advanced Microsoft Excelskills

You sweat the small stuff andbring exceptional attention to detail to everything youdo

You are a collaborative teamplayer and your positive customer service attitude makes you excelat communicating with diverse internal and externalstakeholders

You have a passionatecommitment to and a sense of urgency for the support of schools,along with a belief that all students can achieve at highlevels

Idealcandidates may also demonstrate the following preferred qualifications:

Youbring prior experience in nonprofit finance and accountingpractices, particularlyproject cost estimation & reporting

Youhave worked in and/or have a familiarity with the education oranother human service field
