    About you:

You know this finance stuff cold. From the basics of budgeting and banking through investing and retirement, you’re able to put together a thoughtful life plan for someone. If you’re not already a certified financial planner, you have the know-how to become one. You have experience teaching in a classroom setting. You understand the best practices of teaching and communicating ideas in ways that are relatable and easy to understand. You’re a master of spreadsheets, and nerd out on modeling and making money work for you. This enthusiasm extends to others, and helps them discover ways in which they can reach their goals around both finance and quality of life. You’re able to synthesize your knowledge for others who may be far less numerate, and do so with empathy, understanding and patience. You have a finance background and a passion for wielding it for social good. You understand and use technology products, and can communicate well with teams dedicated to that cause. You understand not just the best practices of personal finance, but also how it all works under the hood - able to build calculators and see how they all integrate together into a holistic financial projection. You have a sixth sense for when the numbers don’t add up quite right, and a natural curiosity for finding the problem.
