Who we’re looking for

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Field Sales Lead Generation Specialist who will partner with our Field Sales team to drive lead generation. You’re a data-driven individual who will research and find opportunities for the field sales team to translate into leads. From regional events, meetings and marketing campaigns, your role will be instrumental in creating awareness and reaching new audiences for our platform’s features and solutions. You’re someone who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves within a rapidly growing team and, most importantly, share in our passion for improving the lives of students and families.

Responsibilities

  • Researching and recommending local and regional associations, agencies and events that reach school district public information officers (PIO), chief technology officers (CTO) and superintendents.
  • Soliciting and evaluating presentation opportunities suggested by our field sales representatives, from small “lunch and learns” up to regional conferences.
  • Working with national school leadership organizations, such as CoSN, ISTE and NSPRA, to identify active local and state chapters of interest, and working with regional education service agencies in target states.
  • Working with current ParentSquare district customers to identify opportunities to present to a wider district leadership audience.
  • Pursuing and planning presentation opportunities for field sales, with any additional hands-on marketing support required including pre- and post-event marketing.
  • Determining metrics for success for each event.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience in the edtech market with knowledge of what resonates with district-level decision makers.
  • Hands-on field sales event and marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of education sales cycles and which event opportunities are filled with promise and which are potential money and time hazards.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
