Role: Field Sales Account Manager

Reporting To: Executive Director, Partnerships & Sales

Job Location: Remote, based in the Western region of the U.S.

Role Brief: We are looking for a talented, motivated, and proven Field Sales Account Manager that thrives in an entrepreneurial organization. This successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable with prospecting (via email, phone, messaging), current customer renewals, working with channel partners, CRM management/reporting (Salesforce.com), and ultimately closing sales.Passion for growth and measurement, lead generation, the education market, and our customer base is integral. Also, very important is a strong sense of teamwork, results orientation, analytic orientation, and a sense of fun!

Responsibilities

This role is excitedly unique, in that you will provide leadership and execute the below responsibilities with not only a focus on K-16 education prospects, but also:

Intermediary prospects (i.e. - chambers of commerce, economic development councils, and STEM hubs)

Current customers (Working closely with our Customer Engagement team. As a SaaS company, annual renewals and expansions are mission critical.)

  • Work with Executive Director of Partnerships & Sales and team to achieve annual sales objectives, while ensuring profitable growth aligned with DE business objectives.
  • Manage high outbound prospect engagement volume, whether traveling or in the office
  • Maintain, share and track customer information on an on-going basis through customer files, Salesforce (CRM tool), shared drives and web 2.0 applications.
  • Partner with company personnel (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Customer Engagement, Product Development) to develop strategies to ensure that personal and territory sales goals are met.
  • Understand goals and objectives for all accounts within assigned territory and have a thorough understanding of where sales opportunities exist (i.e. demographics, education trends, funding, other key external influences).
  • Demonstrate exceptional product and industry knowledge to effectively position Nepris products and services as must-have educational solutions to contacts at varying professional levels.

Develop and refine sales strategies

  • Proactively share information with department that you’ve learned in the field to support other reps/regions meeting their objectives

Serve as a voice for customers internally

  • Travel approximately 50% of time (with seasonal variations)

Skills & Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in field sales, preferably in the EdTech industry

Bachelor’s degree required

Passion for sales professionalism, technology, the K-12 education market, the customer experience, and growing a business

Phenomenal listener

Thrives in a team environment, has a positive attitude, an energetic personality, and the personal drive to learn and grow

Strong understanding of the purchasing processes and influencers in the K20 and workforce intermediary markets

Competency and confidence with Salesforce.com and Pardot.com.

Competency and confidence with social media tools/platforms

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including experience working with multi-product portfolios

Self-directed and goal oriented

Analytical, resourceful, and thoughtful team player with excellent oral and written communication skills

Working Hours: Must be flexible and have ability to work hours as dictated by marketing and sales objectives and goals; and may vary. Occasional evening and weekend work depending on business or customer requirements.
