Field Account Executive (Mid-South, Northeast or Southeast US)

We are looking for a talented Account Executive to join our field sales team. In this role, you will own either the mid-south territory (primarily Texas and surrounding states), the Northeast territory, or Southeast territory and will work with principals and district administrators across this region to build consensus and trust. By leveraging your experience selling SaaS products, knack for building grassroots support, and talent for closing deals you will help upend the traditional sales model in K-12 schools and further our mission in one of our highest potential markets.

You will:

  • Be responsible for acquiring new enterprise K-12 district accounts, driving new revenue for your specific territory, and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Develop mastery of the NoRedInk solution and the competitive landscape
  • Deliver effective, engaging, and interactive presentations and product demonstrations that highlight our strong value propositions and align them to the specific needs of each district
  • Use Salesforce and Outreach to track sales opportunities and activities, ensuring data integrity and enabling our team to work collaboratively
  • Forecast accurately and transparently

You have:

  • 4+ years of Enterprise SaaS sales experience and a track record of personally selling and closing complex technical solutions to K-12 Districts in excess of 100K
  • A track record of hitting and exceeding quota
  • An established network of high-level decision-makers (i.e., Superintendents, Curriculum Directors)
  • Availability to travel within your assigned territory as needed
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
  • The ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Intrinsic motivation, creativity, and tenacity
  • Passion, strong work ethic and true desire to make a difference
  • Active interest in working for a small start-up with a talented team
  • A degree from a four-year college or university
