We’re hiring a sales lead to join our team because we have a problem: customers love our product, we have initiated amazing channel partnerships with Fortune 1000 technology companies that have generated large initial customer accounts, and we do not have the time or experience to fully capitalize and build on these early successes.
Vidcode sells to schools, US districts and global partners through a combined effort of direct sales and distribution partnerships. We need a well-rounded salesperson to take our sales function to the next level; someone who can source, qualify, help cultivate, and close customers; work with partners to bring in channel sales; and help us build a fantastic sales team.
The right candidate will work with the founders on marketing campaigns, develop sales strategies, establish best practices in pipeline tracking and management, and make the sales calls necessary to fuel growth. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the education system from a teacher, school and government level, or other relevant experience with a keen interest in the education sector.
- prior success in an outside sales role for at least two years
- ability to hire and train staff
- passionate about getting teen girls to study computer science
- startup and/or new product sales experience a plus
- experience in education a plus
