EdSurge, the leading source for edtech news, research, events, and community, is looking for a Digital Publishing Coordinator to support the creation and amplification of rich, digital stories across content teams.

In this job you will:

  • Coordinate and support content publishing for editorial and sponsored content articles, guides, and social media campaigns
  • Create campaigns and accompanying visual and data assets to support the diffusion of EdSurge content across different online channels
  • Track, analyze and communicate campaign performance data to share internally and with sponsors as well as inform future campaigns
  • Become proficient with our CMS and marketing tools to format, publish and amplify content
  • Work closely with and support the Director of Sponsored Content to manage internal and external resources and execute campaigns
  • Provide writing and editing support for staff and contributor-authored pieces
  • Work cross-functionally with many of the teams at EdSurge including marketing, sales, and product
  • Be an integral part of an ambitious, fun and close-knit team within a mission-driven start-up

What makes you a great fit for this role:

  • You have 2-3 years of professional experience in editorial or sponsored content production
  • You are proficient with HTML, image / audio / video editing tools, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • You have experience managing and owning projects from start to finish with minimal guidance - that includes scoping projects, problem solving, finding creative solutions
  • You have experience managing contractors
  • You’re passionate about education
  • You have strong written and communication skills
  • You’re able to move at a fast pace and change course when necessary!
  • You love working collaboratively with others and finding ways to solve problems

  • Locations in both Oakland and Burlingame (reasonable commute anywhere from Palo Alto to Berkeley)
