Executive Assistant to Co-founder

About the Role

New Classrooms is seeking a versatile executive assistant with superior communication and organization skills to provide administrative and executive support to the Co-founder of New Classrooms. The Executive Assistant will manage all aspects related to the co-founder’s calendar, travel, external communications and provide support on any other special projects as required.

Strong candidates for this role love working in an executive assistant capacity and will want to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3-5 years experience of heavy calendaring as an executive assistant supporting a senior leader (or multiple senior leaders) in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to problem solve and prioritize, especially when dealing with conflicting priorities
  • Commitment to/interest in Executive Assistant career path
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong writing and communication skills with experience creating or adapting presentations and reports in Google Slides and Powerpoint, Google Sheets, and Excel
  • Experience using Google suite for calendar and document management
  • Flexibility to respond to time sensitive requests off hours as required

What You’ll Do

  • Optimize the Co-Founder’s calendar making sure the most time sensitive priorities and meetings are scheduled and rescheduled on a real time basis
  • Proactively consider and organize important deadlines, meetings, and necessary follow up and create systems/processes to optimize this activity as needed
  • Interface with external and internal stakeholders to optimize time and communications
  • Execute travel coordination and expense report management, timesheet completion, and other administrative responsibilities
  • Arrange and support external and internal meetings/events as required (including all logistics: catering, communications, etc.)
  • Create and adapt presentations and reports and draft communications as required
  • Support special project and personal needs as required
