Evaluation Specialist

The Evaluation Specialist will be a key member of the Customer Research and Evaluation team within the Research and Analytics Department. Impact you will have: In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, coordinating, and implementing various evaluation projects and activities for internal and external audiences. The ideal candidate is flexible, intuitive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with the ability to communicate well with multiple, interdisciplinary parties.

The role will work from our Concord, MA office.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customer research partners, such K-12 schools and districts to analyze program outcomes.
  • Produce analytical reports to better understand program impact on student outcomes.
  • Build relationships with liaisons from each evaluation project to share best practices for program implementation to both internal and external audiences.
  • Provide research assistance across departments including Sales and Customer Success.
  • Lead projects that result in actionable tools for stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement high-quality training on research and evaluation projects for internal and external audiences.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Master's degree in psychology, education, or a related field highly preferred
  • Relevant research or evaluation experience in industry or school/district setting
  • Fluency with MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Knowledge of research methodologies in education
  • Familiarity with quantitative analysis designs, including correlations
  • Demonstrated statistical knowledge and experience with statistical software (e.g., SPSS)
  • Experience with SQL queries, or ability to quickly learn new technology systems
  • Experience with building data visualizations using Tableau
  • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, in order to present reports and recommendations to individuals and groups (both internally and externally) that do not have experience in data or statistics
  • Time management and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently with high quality results on projects with short turnaround times
  • Be innovative and flexible in managing solutions and in problem solving
  • Navigate and adapt to ambiguous environments; handle uncertain situations professionally and reasonably, recognize that ambiguity is inevitable in some processes.
