Enterprise Inside Sales Account Executive- Rosetta Stone (Harrisonburg, VA)

IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 12 million students worldwide is seeking an Enterprise Inside Sales Account Executive to join our growing team to support our Rosetta Stone product line.

The Enterprise Inside Sales Account Executive is responsible for engaging inbound leads, advancing the sales process, and closing new business to meet or exceed sales quotas for companies and organizations with annual revenues up to $250M. The Enterprise Inside Sales Account Executive also conducts prospecting research to identify new leads and to reach business targets through telephone, email, webinars and in-person (when applicable). This individual will also actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based on his/her interactions with prospects.

This is a full time position in our Harrisonburg, VA office. It may begin as remote, but will transition back to in-office.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts from marketing generated leads
  • Manage assigned territory to meet new business revenue goals
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting including cold calls and emails
  • Consistently meet sales quotas
  • Advise and educate our target customers on how they can achieve key business goals through the use of the Rosetta Stone platforms
  • Take a disciplined approach to pipeline management and outbound engagement
  • Deliver product and corporate presentations to groups and individuals
  • Use proven sales methodologies, such as MEDDIC, to qualify and manage opportunities throughout the sales process
  • Develop and uncover client needs and propose value-based solutions
  • Manage geographic territory to achieve all sales goals
  • Collect and report market information and trends to management
  • Understand and be able to communicate how Rosetta Stone products and technological architecture deliver on customer requirements to produce compelling value propositions
  • Accurately maintain and use a Salesforce and Outreach for sales activities and all data specific to your territory
  • Input new orders into billing and implementation systems with an acceptable level of accuracy

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years direct sales experience and account executive/ field territory management background
  • Experience in sales of software products, SaaS, and/or language learning platforms
  • Consistent track record of plan attainment in field or inside sales environment
  • Proven and continued success in selling and closing customers, creating value, and managing a pipeline
  • Experience working with large organizations
  • Ability to develop account relationships and collaborate with management on strategies to achieve new revenue goals
  • Good communication and time management skills required
  • Strong speaking and presentation skills
  • Professional use of a variety of sales tracking tools
  • Proven ability to produce sales results based on defined needs of both customer and management
  • Proper and effective use of sales tools for planning, forecasting
  • Computer software usage and proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Salesforce and other sales/customer relationship management tools
