At Landed, we strive to help educators build financial security in the communities they serve by providing down payment support to educators when they’re ready to buy a home. The primary way we reach public school educators is by establishing a partnership with their school district or charter school. Landed is looking for a resourceful, motivated, and relationship-driven person to optimize how we engage and get the most out of our current school partners. This role is based in San Francisco and scope will expand and evolve to support Landed’s expansion to new markets across the US.

This position reports to the Director of Partnerships.Landed is committed to equal employment opportunities, hiring for a diverse and dynamic set of trailblazers. People of all backgrounds and identities are strongly encouraged to apply.

From day one, you will:

* Manage and deepen relationships with our existing school partners to generate more awareness of Landed amongst their employee base

* Regularly track and analyze new partnership engagement tactics* Proactively identify new opportunities to serve current school partners

* Craft regular communications to school leaders and measure the effectiveness of these efforts

* Help operationalize outreach and engagement with both new and existing school partners

* Anticipate and address evolving school needs as Landed grows in both mature and new regions

* Be the bridge between the Growth and Customer Experience teams. Collect and document program feedback from schools to share with both teams

* Travel and meet with school leaders and staff around the Bay Area

* Deliver a consistent, high quality experience to all of Landed’s school partners

* Become an expert in the ins and outs of the Landed product. Clearly articulate the Landed product and value proposition.

What this opportunity is:

* The chance to help public school leaders solve one of their biggest problems: retaining and recruiting great talent by addressing the housing needs of their employees

* The opportunity to forge meaningful relationships with public school leaders (superintendents and charter school leaders) in expensive cities across the county. Play a critical role in Landed’s growth as a company and brand.

* The chance to ensure that every school district is proud to partner with Landed and is excited to promote the program’s value to staff* The opportunity to shape and build Landed’s partnership engagement program

* The chance to deploy both sides of your brain: operationalize and organize creative solutions

* Part account management, part field operations. Part big picture brainstorming and part execution.

* The chance to be an early employee (with equity ownership) at a venture-backed startup, with: a competitive salary, full health benefits, flexible time off from work to explore and engage the rest of the world; support and resources for personal growth, continued learning, and service to your communities; pathways to long-term company leadership; and, membership to a smart, driven, grounded, creative, and diverse team.

What this opportunity is not:

* An established position with precedent to follow and a set blueprint to carry out; we need self-starters.

* Easy hours, low risk, slow paced.* A strategy role without execution.

* A “close the deal at all costs” sales role.

Who you are:

* A people person who’s energized by engaging and enrolling others in something you believe in.

* Have the desire to own the mission of the company.

* Driven by long-term relationships vs. a quick transaction.* You’re an organizer; you enjoy creating structure in an nebulous environment.

* Your natural mode is to be positive. You’re willing and excited to learn from failure, and get right back at it.

* You’re willing to get scrappy.

* Sweat the details, particularly in any type of school-facing communication.

* A resourceful self-starter who is accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively and looks for ways to resolve issues.

* A naturally fantastic listener, collaborator, bridge-builder, and question-asker.* You love learning.

* Comfortable with regular travel around the Bay Area and occasionally to other markets.

* You have excellent time management skills, with proven ability to multitask, accomplishing numerous tasks and prioritizing strategically.

* Good natured and enjoy spending time with a diverse group of people both inside and outside of work.

* A professional with at least 5 years of work experience in these areas of expertise.

* Relevant experience in sales, account management, organizing, program management or a client-facing role preferred. Industry experience in education a plus.
