You’ll be joining a smart, entrepreneurial, collaborative team. Edulastic is headquartered in the Bay Area near San Francisco, but you can work remotely in your own region. Position Overview

Regional account representatives own and develop a geographic territory, prospecting for new business and following up on inbound leads from their regions to meet revenue targets. As part of a small, fast-growing company, the sales team participates in developing and implementing growth strategies, as well as supporting customers through the sales, on boarding and renewal journey.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, nurture and close new sales opportunities in the region.
  • Set up and deliver software demonstrations, sales presentations and proposals.
  • Efficiently manage and track leads, including updating the CRM system.
  • Build and expand customer relationships post-sale to increase cross-sell and upsell opportunities, renewals and referrals.
  • Represent company at trade shows and other marketing events.
  • Communicate customer feedback to marketing, sales and executive teams.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in education or edtech sales, selling software or SaaS products preferred.
  • Success in meeting monthly outbound and sales targets.
  • Strong communication, relationship building and problem-solving skills, as demonstrated in previous roles.
  • Ability to research, analyze and self-educate to understand customer requirements and how Edulastic helps them meet their goals.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely: effectively use time with focus on results; communicate and collaborate appropriately with tools like online conferencing and video; ability to travel occasionally to customer sites and company HQ
  • Desire and ability to work in a startup environment: flexible, highly collaborative,always interested in learning, willingness to try new ideas and cut things that aren’t working.
